Mountain Bike Skills – Level 2

MTB LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE SKILLS COURSE - £50PP

This course is aimed at those with previous off road cycling experience. You are ideally competent with the Level 1 skills or have attended one of our courses.

Skills such as steep and technical ascending and descending, bunny hops, step ups, cornering, drop off’s and more will be taught by your qualified and experience instructor.

 

  • Bike set up (including front and rear suspension)
  • Basic route planning
  • Spare & emergency equipment to carry
  • Steep ascents/descents
  • Single track techniques
  • Cornering
  • Front & rear wheel lifts
  • Small drop offs (up to 30/40 cm)
  • Bunny hops
  • Step ups
  • Attack/neutral body positioning
  • Trail side repairs

We’re hosting a range of outdoor activities on Exmoor this Easter from just £20pp!…

Activity: Rock Climbing & Abseiling

This half day activity session is perfect for anyone who wants to try climbing and abseiling, learning the basics of belaying, tying knots, climbing skills and techniques.

Where: Valley of Rocks, Lynton, Exmoor

Timings: 09:30-12:30 Suitable for adults – £25 pp

13:00 – 16:00 Suitable for adults with children (minimum age 8 accompanied by a parent/guardian) £25pp/adults £20pp/children

We provide: Harnesses, helmets, ropes and equipment

You need: Sturdy trainers/walking boots, warm clothing, snack and a drink.
